And no…it’s not a boy…
I’m moving into the library to live forever amongst my beloved books…or at least that’s what this week has felt like so far. Unfortunately, textbooks are not the most thrilling reads.
However, I do love reading books.
Books have helped me through so much in life. Harry Potter was my best friend during my angsty, emotional teenage years. I quoted Harry Potter in my Valedictorian speech, and my admissions essay to Oberlin was themed around Harry Potter. Needless to say, the books really impacted me. Aside from my friendship with Harry Potter, I might not have recovered from a terrible illness if I hadn’t read the library’s entire collection on eating disorders (Dewey decimal number 616.8526…seriously).
Books are the perfect escape after a long day. Sometimes you just need to turn your brain off and get away from the world for a while. Fiction provides the perfect opportunity for that.
Also good for turning off your brain?
Trashy television. Can’t wait to watch Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23 tonight!!
Show is hilarious!
Enjoy the rest of your week loves.
XOXO,
Jamie

Did you and your boyfriend break up? You haven’t posted about him in a while
We did :/
I’m sorry…I know it might not sound likely at the moment, but you will be able to feel better about it and look forward in time. I’ve only known you through your blog, but I honestly believe that you’re a strong and amazing girl. Best wishes from my heart.
Soooo sorry
Hearing about him through your blog shows that he probably helped you grow as a person. And if anything, your relationship has made you a stronger and better person.
Reminds me of the countless essays I wrote about Harry Potter in high school! By the way, is that girl from Don’t Trust The B the actress l who played Lily Van der Woodsen’s sister?
YES YES YES! She was only in one episode of Gossip Girl though. The other main character in the show was Hazel Williams in GG though! She was also in Gilmore Girls.
Sometimes there is no better way to unwind than to watch trashy tv!!
